Cafe Vincent
Vincent
is a modernly decorated Parisian cafe located in Arkadia shopping mall. The
interiors are simple and minimalist. The amount and variety of food goodies
makes it difficult for us to take a quick decisions what to order.
You can
eat here breakfast, lunch and
dessert. There are fresh croissants, macaroons, brioche and sweet buns
with stuffing and baked baguettes on display counter. In particular, we
try a croissant with chocolate, which won our hearts. We take home one of the
crispy baguettes (our favorite - fitness) as well.
If this
is for you too much, eat one of the sandwiches - with ham and cheese or
mozzarella and tomato. We do not recommend the salads, because dressings are
tasteless.
In
addition to the food delights we find on offer coffee, tea and fruit smoothies.
Classic coffees are average, mediocre. Taste can enrich syrup, for an
extra charge. Cocktails disappointed us, they aren’t refreshing but overly
sweet. We expected the natural and fresh fruit mixes, and instead we got
cold drinks on the basis of syrups with some frozen strawberries.
The
cafe is a two-level, or you can sit in the garden. On the ground floor is
quite loud - all the time standing queue to the cashier and customers looping up
to the plate. A slightly different climate prevails on the second floor. Dim
light, simple tables and sofas are unimaginative and are associated with the
decor of popular coffee stores like Starbucks. The only positive
distinctive accent are hanging on the walls black-and-white photos by Robert
Doisneau, French photographer.
We
recommend Cafe Vincent for a quick lunch, a cup of coffee with a friend or rest
after shopping. Everyone will find something savory and sweet at
affordable prices. Try it, you won’t regret it!
